K, so I stole this thread from another forum and it generated a mammoth response over there, probably as well as teaching all of us hairy slobs something or two about life.
So here we go - Girls - What Don't You Like on Guys?

LoL...Good answer.
That's a difficult question to answer, because it really depends on the guy and what works for him. I don't like it when guys are cocky. I find it a complete turn-off. I love it when they're confident though. There's a difference. |

I was going to post that before, but then I noticed I wasn't logged in, and forgot about it.
Overdone confidence and cockiness is a definite turn off. Same goes for having no opinion of your own, following the crowd and putting other people down just to feel good about yourself. |

Ermmm....well let me think...from the looks I love backs...omg they're big and strong well compared to mine and there is a whole story about them...that I won't tell..
And then there is the more important part...the "whot's inside the head" I love when we have similar sense of humor...and of course the respect for each other...those tiny things...making breakfast, flowers once in a while...anything that reminds you that you are truly loved! The feeling that you will have backup in every aspect...although I love fighting so he has to know how to do that...I mean they tend to just say "yes" and "sorry"...you know to get away with it as fast as they can...I want a proper action I want broken plates and clothes throwing out the window!!!!! anyway I'm talking more likely about relationships that "blokes" in general...well he has to have all those qualities to make me interested...but that's just me Bugger...just realized it was a thread about whot you DON'T like in a bloke...anyway...just turn it in if he doesn't have there qualities I don't like him! |

Not quite, not quite. I didn't actually say a thing about my luck with women.
It's normally just laughter at the idea rather than "fuck off" ![]() |

I'm not one for self deprication, it seems a very inefficient way to make someone laugh. Trying to get people to like you, or make them laugh by telling them that you're crap in many ways is, for me, out of character and untrue to myself

Who said I was being self-deprecating? Other than what I said to Andy nothing I said was. The truth is, like I said, I get rejected just as much as other guys, maybe more, maybe less, I really don't compare myself to other people. All I know is when it happens, it's normally a case of the girl saying "I'm flattered but..."
I'm not crap in many ways. This is just one department in which I'm honest enough to admit my failings and humble enough to keep my successes to myself. |

Self-deprecation is not only funny, it's cool too. If only I had the wit and intelligence to pull it off.

I don't like it when guys aren't able to handle and tell the truth. I'm addicted to truth and confrontation, if I have a partner I need him to just tell me things as they are, because I can't work with untruths. They don't work and they don't help.
I also don't like guys who pretend to be better than they are. If he's gonna look at and drool over other women, just tell me - I get it, really, don't pretend you're Mr. Chastity. If you like going out with your friends, don't apologize, don't make up excuses - it's human. I just like a man to be a real man and be honest and independent. If I want a lapdog I'll get myself one, if I want someone to say what I'd want them to I'd get a parrot. But that's just me
