The saddest thing about Silk was that it could have been so much better...
Michael Pitt was miscast. The Japanese actors and actresses performed well but I think the plot taken from the novel could have been adapted better; furthermore, the film just dragged on--had Keira Knightley's character, Helene Joncour, been more developed, I think the film would have been 10 times better.
