This thread needs more love. It is my considered opinion that anyone not interested in history is a fool, a damned fool at that.
I've just finished watching the HBO miniseries John Adams (fucking top notch) which has inspired me to finally start reading Democracy in America.
When I'm finally done with this stupid degree of mine (counting the weeks) and I have some more time I'm hoping to do a history degree part time. Sufficed to say, I have a passing interest.
