My friend was telling me something that happened a couple years back when she worked at Target. She was in the break room and this very uneducated man (who had a crush on her) was talking with some other guy there and someone brought up the Holocaust and the uneducated person didn't really get the reference. Someone asked him if he knew what it was and he stumbled for a second but then said "Wait, it's when Hitler killed like a thousand Jews, right?"

Ouch.
