Gracie's right...the illegality with the age of consent all depends on if one person is above it, and one below it...if so the one ABOVE it is breaking the law...the one below it is still totally innocent (well...obviously not in the virginal sense
) and is the "victim". That said...as Gracie said...it's very hard to convict for statutory rape. Happens a lot more stateside than here too...and it's not that commonplace there...it's nigh on a "dead" crime over here.
