Noone says otherwise but who says the physical urges run one way? There are times when women think "Intimacy? Who the fuck wants that? I just want to be fucked hard, now damnit!". The crucial thing like Fancyman said is that it should still be fun for both parties.
And although I've not experienced the foreplay, long foreplay has always struck me as being quite fun.
