It should be like that here. I've never dated or expressed interest in more than one guy at a time, but I've been the second girl, so I don't really find that whole concept appealing.
I guess that I don't fit in with Barrington's definition of American dating. I don't sleep around, I've never called it "going steady" (lol, guys don't give girls their pins either), I hardly ever give out my phone number, and I don't date for the hell of it. Like, I wouldn't want to go out with someone who's like "Oh yeah, this is silly and light and fun". I'd rather be serious. I'm not interested in casual, despite what I say sometimes.
