hi everyone. its the end of school now and one of my best frends ever is leavin and i might never see her again!! :( im gonna miss her soooooo much and it makes me cry jsut thinkin about it! does anyone have any tips on how to cope and how to say goodbye? :(

Sorry to hear about your friend. The phone is always a good way to keep in touch, internet is another, and when you're older or whatever airplanes! As for coping... I went to school last year and my friend since we were 4 went to another school so we barely got to even talk. I don't know... you just get used to it? Yeah, that's supposed to be a question.

ok thanks! shes leaving tomorow and i dont know how to say goodbye! im gonna cry my eyes out!:) we (our class) are making her a video and a scrapbook so she can remember us! thanks for the advice, greatly appreciated. anyone else got any?

My best friend and I used to hang out every day, but she moved away to a different town for college. We definitely didn't talk every day, and we'd go weeks without phoning each other. The good thing is that it's THAT much greater when you do finally get to talk to them because you've got so much to tell each other, and when you finally see them, you have a LOT more fun than you would've just hanging out with them every day. That's the only advice I have...I've been through it before. And yes, you will have to get used to it, like Ash said.

As someone who constantly moves, and who has gone to 7 different schools in the last 8 years...just say good bye. End it on a good note and never forget them. That's my advice.

spend as much time with them as you possibly can now. and talk a bunch of photos, you can scrapbook, i think the was mentioned before, and make a tape. and call each other. i have that problem of my 3 friends all living in a different city from me and they each go to a different school. some times it's very hard to get together but it's worth it because we have so much to say to each other

eh sorry im not very sympathetic i graduated and i know that ill never see most of those kids again. eventually youll get over it and make new friends.

When I graduated I thought I'd miss people... I didn't. It's amazing how after a year at college (last summer) when you go back home and hang out with people from high school again you realize you didn't really miss them. And when I did I either phoned them, or they were going to the uni in the city where I'm from so. But phone and internet are wonderful things.

yeah i dont miss them i really wasnt saying i was. lol

My former best friend lives on the other side of the country-an 8 hour flight from my place (australia's pretty huge lol). We stayed in touch for a few months, then just sorta stopped emailing or calling each other. See despite the best intentions to hold onto them, you always move on.

make sure you keep in close contact with this friend. ring,email woteva!!!! and buy her a little present to show that you will miss her in other words a goodbye present or do something with her so that you will always remember her
