Time Between Posts?
 

Hey, I know I'm new and all, but I was just thinking about the required 120 seconds between posts. I've been on a lot of forums, and most of them don't have time requirements or they are much less (more like 30-60 seconds). I was wondering if anyone had ever thought of reducing it or getting rid of it all together? I know it prevents spammers, but from my experience, I don't see a lot of people just posting randomly as much as possible...but maybe that's been an issue here....anyway, I just find it to be annoying sometimes when I have only like 5 minutes, and I want to comment on 3-4 threads
...yet i have to wait after posting a comment. Anyways, just a thought, sorry if i'm stepping out of line in asking.

first up. we get ALOT of spam. we just have a hell of a good moderation team

erm... well glossing over the fact thats exactly what you seem to be doing... infact, we get alot of that too.

so the 120 second rule stays im afraid. if your posts take such a short length of time to write... maybe you should put more thought into what you are posting.

Nope. Deal with it. It's really not that long of a wait.

And if your posts are too short and pointless to require a decent amount of time to make a good post, you should rethink it.

Not trying to be rude, but we really don't like spam.
