The Random link thread
Kinda like the random picture thread but instead of pictures, random links to anything interesting or funny. Much better than starting "Youtube" threads or having individual threads anything remotely funny crops up on the net that doesn't deserve discussion.

A little World Cup themed game for everyone:

I was gonna put it there but... i didn't feel like waiting for the right click menu to come up and to hit "copy" because they my computer would stall and it'd take like a minute to do that. Pffft, i'd like to your high-five.

You don't have to. Just use [img] tags around the link and instead of posting the link, you could've posted the picture.

In case noone else has seen this

In perfect time for the new Transformers movie (although it's an old link)

Digital_Ice 15-07-2006 09:14 AM

heh, i love notpron, i think the furthest i ever got was about lv 48

i've wasted many hours on notpron.... especially when i was at college.

Jacoby 15-07-2006 03:44 PM

I used to do it all the time and the furthest I ever gotten was level 12 or so. It took me forever to get there, too. It was frustrating ez hell.

Digital_Ice 15-07-2006 04:09 PM

theres about 80 levels i think. too damn hard though.

Jacoby 18-07-2006 10:16 PM

All things Zidane.

Hazzle 19-07-2006 08:32 AM

HEH! I'd seen most of those, but not all.

Some people have way too much time on their hands...

Anyway, here's another link for you.

Old but good:

I'm sure you all got the email

Of course if you can be bothered it's easy to work out how it's done.

DefyingGravity 20-07-2006 05:03 PM

I'm never able to get very far with this.

News Article on Puzzles

There are typically nine rings in a classic set of Chinese rings; if a player makes no mistakes, the puzzle requires 341 moves to solve. Mr. Slocum can solve it in three to four minutes.

But on a table next to the Sunday box sat a version with 65 rings. A perfect solution in that case would take 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 moves, Mr. Slocum said. “Assuming one move every second, that would be 56 billion years, or four times the age of the universe,” he said.
