its annoying, are people spamming?

It's an attempt at stopping spammers who link to "Free gifts" pyramid schemes. It kinda works, though you still see the occasional person posting 1-3 threads before being locked and banned.

Maybe its there so people don't create useless threads.
Maybe if people read the rules they would know this
Maybe if someone has a question they could private message
an Administrator, officer or moderator

Use the extra time to make sure your post is as good as it could be. Check spelling, edit it, add naked pictures of keira. All that stuff.

What he said. If you have more than one post to add in a two-minute stretch then it's obviously not very good.

I never thought someone would start a thread about it. lol. Just wait a couple minutes, it's not THAT long.

Maybe the shout box is more your speed.

yes its annoying, but not that annoying, and it does serve a purpose, how much of a hurry must you be in to not be able to wait 2 minutes to post?

It is bloody annoying especially when one has to break up what they are posting because there are too many characters in the post, stupid limit.

Hreh. It's more of a story he's posting, but yes.

I, for one, hate the damn 120 second rule. I understand that it serves a purpose to block spammers. But I type quickly and READ quickly and having to WAIT 2 minutes IS a long time...try holding your breath that long :oP
