View Full Version : Illegal acts

Has anybody ever partaken in any *ahem* illegal acts?

The only thing I've ever done that could be considered illegal is reckless driving( burnouts, brake stands, power sliding around corners, that sort of thing). Then again I don't think it should really be considered reckless because I was in control the entire time(mostly), but I geuss it is still illegal.
Oh and then there is the whole, um...drinking...thing, but that's niether here nor there. :icon_beer

You sometimes drive reckless? You ought to be ashamed of yourself. A reckless driver killed a close friend of mine so people like you make me sick to the stomach.

I'm sorry to hear that but it's all in good fun. And besides, I don't do it when anybody's around. I'm not stupid enough to put someone else's life at risk, only my own.

No, no, no. Putting your life at risk is not "all in good fun."

Anyhow, I don't really know. Underage drinking(I didn't actually go anywhere, it was in the safety of my own home), and I tried to kill myself once... is that against the law? :icon_conf

No, no, no. Putting your life at risk is not "all in good fun."

Maybe I should rephrase what I said before. I'm not really putting my life at risk because I am an experienced driver and I am comfortable in everthing I do. I wouldn't do something if I wasn't sure I'd be in complete control the entire time. So you see, I'm not really putting my life at risk because I know what I'm doing. And I'm not putting anyone elses life at risk because I'm in a secluded area and no one is around. What I said before was just a bad choice of words.

Only thing I can think of is: Reckless Driving. I'm talking about doing burnouts in front of school, with the vice-principal watching, pulling the e-brake while going 65 on a gravel road(very fun), and speeding. The most I've ever sped was 120 in a 65 zone(Mph for whoever cares). Its cool, unless you hit someone, or get caught, and thats why I do this shit when nobody's around, but my motto is "drive it like you stole it".

Oh, tresspassing, stealing (from a friend, not shoplifting) but, suprisingly, no weapons charges, what with the whole Air Force Base thing. How ironic.

A '98 Subaru Outback, 5-speed.
And you?

BTW, all my friends are into cars, so heres the list of them:
'98 Chevy Cavilier Z24, '91 Nizzan 240SX, '88 Chevy Beretta, and '05 Toyota CorollaZRS. All are 5-speeds, except for the Corolla, it's a 6.

Since I've had my truck only two things have went out. The fuel swith-over valve the fan cluch. Wait, better make that three, the tailgate latch broke last night and now I can't get the damn thing open. Other than that it is an awsome truck and I wouldn't trade it for anything else(well except maybe a Ferrari but that'll never happen).

Done or been convicted/punished for? If the latter, none...planning to become a lawyer means being caught is a dangerous thing.

Errr...done?

Being a lawyer I have NEVER done anything illegal of course :err:

I did <cough> NOT <cough> do any of the following:

Underage drinking, underage smoking, assault, battery, abh...weapons offences (I've NOT been known to carry knives with the intention of using them if needs be, and I've NOT used non-conventional weapons when fighting too)...trespass of course...copyright infringement (we've ALL done that one :p And you didn't say criminal so I thought I'd add it), shoplifting, theft (not from a shop, from people), fraud, nuisance, breach of contract (again, one we've probably all done).

I probably did NOT do several others but I'm too lazy to think of them right now.

When I was six, I stole a candy bar.

There was once a phase in my life when I was heavy on warez, but I don't do it anymore. It's bad.

When I was young, really young, I used to torture cockroaches... with hot sauce and boiling water.

I like porn. (It's not illegal, neither is the one above. I thought I'd mention it.)

1. I've had about 7 speeding offences since I got my license 12 years ago ranging from 15 over the limit to 65.

2. I once knocked out a woman in a crowded shopping mall when she tried to put her hand in my pocket (she thought I stole something) so I snap kicked her under the jaw and she went straight down. I had a 6-month jail term but got off on 250 hours community service.

3. I was also discharged from the army 3 years ago.

Just to extend on point 2, I was going shopping for xmas back in 2001 in Garden City shopping center, Queenlands second largest, and this was Christmas so this place was packed, I thought I would get my girlfriend something nice so I went into this arts and culture shop (she loves the stuff) and was looking around, I was just browsing, picking up small items etc. I saw nothing I liked so I walked out. Then I hear this Greek woman yell "THIEF THIEF" I turn around and say I'm not a thief, but she runs out of the store to where I am and yells louder so the whole center can hear "THIEF!!! THIEF!!!" in that Greek accent, I replied that I was not a thief but she walked closer "LOOK IN POCKET, THEIF" and she started reaching for my front pocket. As she was getting closer, I stepped onto my back leg and snapped kicked her under the jaw. Everyone sort of stopped and a few people screamed, so naturally within 20 seconds I had 4 big security guys on me. A few minutes later Medics came for the woman, they put that neck brace on her and taped up her broken jaw she woke up in hospital 4 hours later with no idea what happened.

Whereas I would rather go to prison for theft than do that to someone.
For a black belt you're surprisingly short fused and aggressive.Ever heard of social skills, and rational discussion?

For me, theft, piracy, vandalism, underage drinking, trespassing, public disturbance, so nothing particularly serious :)

Oh yeah, and crimes against fashion, but you all know that :)

My first underage drinking episode occurred on a field trip to the state fair in the seventh grade. It's all been downhill from there.
Things I've been caught doing:
83 in a 55
83 in a 65 (pussy...this weekend)
Tresspassing
Reckless Driving (wreck at 16)
Vandalism (fraternity prank)
Breaking and entering (fraternity prank)
Assault (once)
Open container

Things I've managed to conceal from the authorities
Drug possession
insurance fraud (ran into cute girls, high as a kite...didn't hurt their car, so I told the insurance company somebody backed into my car in a parking lot)
More drug possession
145 in a 55
underage alcohol possession
contributing to the delinquency of a minor
arson
assault (all the rest of the times)
More drug possession
open container (all the fucking time)
driving under the influence
drunk and disorderly conduct (somehow managed to not get arrested with others)
jumped a train (I'm not really sure what this would be classified as...tresspassing, I guess? - Tuscaloosa to Memphis, really fucked up after a party. Absolute nightmare getting back)
Public indecency (tubesock and sneakers through the Food Court...tubesock fell off :icon_surp )

That's not cool.

I haven't really done too many illegal things. Just the normal underage drinking thing (in my own home, so it's not that bad.) But I just found out a kid that I used to be friends with is a hard-core drug dealer. He sells everything and I guess he uses it too. It's so weird because you wouldn't expect this kid to do that. It's pretty crazy.

In all fairness, the assault charge was dropped. It was a fight in...and then out of a bar, and everyone was at fault. Some puss with a bloody nose pressed charges, but the cops finally just sent everyone home when someone other than me claimed to have punched him in the nose.

And, another assault that went completely unpunished was justified. This guy was slapping his girlfriend around. So, a couple of us grabbed him and left him in a heap in the corner of the bar. Guys...don't ever, I repeat ever hit a woman.

aside from random drug usage and alcohol use, trespassing, petty larceny, defacing govenment property (almost got caught) i haven't done anything illegal.

but as said before it isn't illegal if you never got caught, i've never been caught. i'm just lucky with a few close calls.

i did get ratted out on underage drinking but since my stepdad has a lot of pull in my town the cop just sent everyone home and had my parents deal with me.

Here's a few more to add to my list:
speeding (130 in a 55; beat that Bait)
underage drinking
driving while under the influence (hardly consider 3 beers under the influence though)
street racing (calm down, it was a closed street)
theft (I stole a pack of gum and a couple magazines from a grocery store when I was a little kid. In fact it's the same one I work at now)
driving my quad on the street (got it up to 65 on a street by my house)
driving with an open bottle (wasn't mine)
noise ordinance violation (driving with my truck uncapped-exhaust comes straight out through my headers bypassing all things that make exhaust legal-loud as fuck-it's a neat to have when going through a drive through :icon_razz )

That's about all I can think of right now. If I think of more I'll post them.

I parked my car this one time in front of a water hydrant so I could drop off a package that my friend mistakenly left in my car. It's illegal, but it was only for five minutes, and I wasn't caught.

---

I remember playing a minor role to stop an illegal act in college. Mike and I were the RA's on duty that Friday night -- which means we had to patrol the floors in our building every two hours to make sure everything was okay. As we were making our rounds, this black girl rushes out of a dorm room, screaming about how some Indian guy was trying to rape her. Mike kept the wannabe rapist contained in the room, as Mike is a huge Irish ruby player. I called the ambulance and police, who found some incriminating date rape paraphernalia in that room.

It's funny how you forget about such things as time goes by. Mike was telling me over a beer that the wannabe rapist was eventually kicked out of school before he received his degree and even committed suicide. I doubt anyone was crying for that guy.

I kinda find it funny that I've never once stole money from anyone, nonetheless my parents. Probably because they never leave money out in the open, it doesn't help my father either, he hasn't opened his wallet in over 5 months... true story. (spider webs are forming.)

$50 bucks, if I did or ever do decide to steal, it wouldn't be that much - I couldn't get it past them. We're not that loaded enough for my mother to not notice that 50 dollars is missing.

Several hundreds of pounds over a period of time. My dad was running a wholesale business at the time and there were thousands of pounds in cash left out in the open...the odd 50 here and there wouldn't be missed...he'd just figure he spent it.

Just the other day my dad had about £3,000 in cash lying around in his study/office...easy pickings, had I been that way inclined...
