No I don't, It's WAY too buggy at the moment, and I like/prefer Hotmail/Lycos/Messenger.

You obviously have never used it, nor know what you are talking about, in my opinion. Those are 10 times worse and mroe buggy than GMail is,a dn tehy are final, GMail is still beta.

I guess you never read up on cnn.com, tech tv, or other source of computer knowlegde. Gmail is extremly buggy, even for beta, with people losing accounts, letters, you name it, they've lost it. I have had no problem with messenger, EVER, while lycos mail has ZERO SPAM in it. Alas, the same can not be said for hotmail(I get like 200 spam offers daily, even with spamblocker on)

I cannot personally say I have used Lycos, but your right, Hotmail does blow. I have been using GMail for a while now and have never encountered any problems, just amazing success for Google. If you want an account, I am trying to get rid of one of my old ones that I don't use.

gmail is fast, sleek, convenient, and the labelling system is very useful.
No complaints here. Haven't noticed any missing emails, but then again, isn't that the point?

yeah, i am
its verry handful, but its idd a bit buggy, i lost 4 mails the last month :icon_neut

Point made :)
j/k I bet once gMail hits final, it will be better, Google just needs to work out the bugs before I sign-up for it. I don't like the idea of losing my messeges all/ most of the time.

I dislike bots reading my emails and targetting advertisement with keywords found in my mail. Gmail does precisely that.

for the moment u cant singup for gmail, u need to be invited by someone ho already has gmail --> gmail is stil in a beta fase.
The mails i lost where al mails with a atachment

Well, if you can't sign-up for it already, then how did Google get the people "signed up now" into the beta? Did they pick and choose who they would like to try therer product. or what?

Google went about to unversities and such to get beta testers, I believe.

I haven't. Really no point since I only ever use up to 88% of Hotmail's 2MBs, then realise I haven't emptied Junk for a few days.

Big bump, I know, but I'm not gonna start a new thread.

I have 6 Gmail invites, and nothing to do with them. PM me if you want one.

I use Gmail and I think it's great! Plus, the attachment sending rate is alot higher. In other words, it's alot faster to send e-mails with larger attachments than hotmail or yahoo.

I never reached the old hotmail limit of 2mb, and if I did, it was only because I forgot to delete really old junk. Since they've upgraded my account to 250 MBs now, I don't really need much more space, though like Frodo said, the spam is annoying.

I stopped using the actual Google website...I finally got it to work with Mozilla Thunderbird, which I'm absolutely loving. The only problem I ever had with Google was that I couldn't really organize all my emails, but that's no longer a problem with Thunderbird. It's excellent.

I've got a few invites if anyone wants them too.

what type of error is it?

There's no error, it just won't load when I log in

I'm using Internet Explorer, I'm not much of a computer person so my brother wiped all the cookies and files. Just for some reason my email won't load on the family computer, but it works on his computer just fine. And as if I'll ever be able to check my email to often, he never leaves his desk.
