Question for My UK Friends:)

I am starting a thread because we are in desperate need of a new thread, and I am in desperate need of advice. I need a suggestion for a day trip from London :)

I've been to...Windsor, Hampton Court, Hever, Stonehenge, Bath, Canterbury, Salisbury, Winchester, Leeds Castle, Warwick Castle..../me thinks...Oxford, Stratford, Dover...k, maybe that's about it.

I would love something that is relevent to the Tudors, but it's not necessary. I'll be traveling by rail. When I google this, the same sights pop up (mostly the ones above). Brighton is continually mentioned, but I'm worried it is super touristy.

Anyways, sorry about this very self-centered thread, but I leave in two weeks and need something new :) Already in the plans is a return visit to Hever, and Love Never Dies (the Phantom sequel:))

Brighton isn't that touristy iirc. Cambridge is nice. Bristol is good, bit hilly, but nice. There is always more of London to see and I say that as someone who has lived here my whole life.

Elly was telling me about Brick Road (?), and that it is a really interesting part of London. Any other suggestions?

Brick Lane. And yes, yes it is (went to Uni round the corner from there so spent a lot of time there). I'm actually with Ducks; there's always parts of London you've not explored, and like Ducky I've lived here my whole life.
