View Full Version : Who's next?

Brad Delp...lead singer of Boston found dead in his house by his fiancee'.
Richard Jeni...comedian shot himself, 911 call placed by girlfriend.

These things always happen in threes. Is Jeni the third in relation to Anna Nicole, or has the shelf date on her death passed?
Enquiring minds want to know.

The Jeni thing is kind of bizarre. Rock stars dropping dead in their fifties shocks me about as much as the sun rising in the east, but Richard Jeni seemed to be at the top of his game. But then, you never really know.
My grandfather was by all accounts a happy-go-lucky guy right up until the day he left the garage door down and started the car.

nope, i can honestly say thier one of the few bands i really dislike and always have, people praise them for writing mediocre dull whiny dross, ive never heard a Coldplay song ive remotly liked.
and Chris Martin thinking hes rock and roll is absolutly laughable, hes about as rock and roll as Cliff Richard.

What? You've never participated in a "death pool"?
;)
I was watching Amy Winehouse sing Beat It with Charlotte Church on the interweb. Holy shit, what a mess. She's making Britney Spears look like she's got everything well in hand.

Nope, not a death pool kinda gal. That said, I can see the fun of a death pool. It gets a little freaky when people are starting to hope people will die for reasons other than winning the death pool competition :icon_razz

Well, apparently Wikipedia wanted it to be Sinbad, but rumors of his death were a bit premature. (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070316/ap_en_ce/people_sinbad)

thier incredibly overrated, thier music is hardly awe inspiring on a technical level, thier incredibly depressing, dull and whiny, if i went to a Coldplay concert i would most likely fall asleep, then theres Johnny Buckland what a dull guitarist for such a big band, hardly on par with Hendrix,Clapton or Frusciante and many, many other guitarists is he?, i really hope they split up and X&whine is thier last album sadly i doubt that will happen.

Name one band that's got a guitarist on par with Hendrix. Seriously.

The Allman Bros.
But then Duane Allman died. :(
Seriously.
Clapton said he was the best.

not saying hes as good as him but John Frusciante is ONE of not THE best(before people get thier knickers in a twist) current playing guitarists at the moment he can do many styles and he can do them well and in my opinion sounds very Hendrixesque in parts on thier latest album.
