She's saving her allowance to get one hopefully next year.

It seems that my first topic is dead so I will put another question to continue it :
In what car would you see Keira ? or what car suits her best ?

Foeni

So she do/did have a car.
I would have thought about something dark blue, and a Honda

She had/has a black mini cooper Sport with automatic gears.
With women's transmission? Doesn't she know how to drive with manual transmission?

Mandy

No shit. I know plenty of women who have automatic stick shift!

Foeni

But do you know how to handle a stick, Mandy?

Lol, do you have any idea what a "shitty" car like a pink Peugeot 206 CC costs!?

It would be nice a mustang, maby red, but I don't think she likes muscle cars with lots of HP.

American cars are a crime against humanity, she would have better taste, who would want something with a huge engine that makes no power and cant go around corners :P

any modern American car is rubbish,im 1/2 American so its not a case of slagging them off for the sake of it, just none of thier car companies can build a decent car to save thier lives.

Until I noticed your :P...I thought perhaps you had switched your irony receptor off.
I thought the Trans-Am was the pinnicle of automotive style in 1978...when I was six. Then I went to California and saw my first Ferrari.

thier cars just dont seem to appeal to the rest of the world, like in europe for example, who would want a Ford Taurus or the like when you can get a BMW 3 series, who would buy an Escalade when you can get a Range Rover, who would buy a Ford GT or Corvette when you could get a Mucielago?, American cars do well in the domestic market where obviously thier good value etc, but i would always look for a european alternative myself :)

Personally, I wouldn't drive an American car. When my Maxima was in the shop, I drove a rental Pontiac G6. Not bad, but I'm not sure how well it will hold up over time. The Pontiac Solstice is nice looking, but then, it was designed in Europe (Sweden...if I'm not mistaken) and not subject to the typical American styling.
The only American car I would drive is a Corvette or the Cadillac two door.
Given my financial state, however, I'll probably put another 150,000 miles on my Maxima.

i changed from a Range Rover to a Mercedes near the end of last year, sadly thier American ownership is starting to rub off :( , including the weird footbrake instead of a handbrake, i regret swapping at all to tell the truth.

Eww. A footbrake?
How barbaric. I can't stand driving the company truck because of those.

@Hasselbrad, did u know that Ford US thinks about importing EU ford models manufactured in Belgium because the Americans consume to much petrol? :icon_mrgr

With the kind of money Ford is losing, I think they'll do just about anything to move a few units.

lol, gotta remeber that one, never heard it before :icon_lol:

How about...
Fix
Or
Repair
Daily?

A bit redundant, but then car guys aren't know for their eloquence.

Range rover isn't doing that well either Katy. The old series were superb but the new ones have their flaws and the company almost crashed bc of it a few years back if I'm not mistaking.

I'd prefer the new BMW 8 series above the 3 though and if i could choose between a bmw and an audi i'd go for the audi :icon_razz

the new Range Rovers are far better built than the old ones, my dad had them since i can remember and the old ones were always going wrong, between the current shape Range Rover the Discovery and the Freelander, Land Rover are making a decent profit, plus it has the benifit of been the only luxuary SUV that is any good off road :)
thier cerainly better built than the Merc ive got now which has had its share of problems and is getting sold asap.
