Hey everyone! It's November 20, 2006. And while over 600,000 Americans are playing their brand new Nintendo Wiis right now, a lot of other people across the world are still waiting to get their hands on this cool little machine. Me? I'm playing it up! For those of you who are familiar with the Nintendo DS friend code system, the Wii's is essentially the same, only the code is for the console and not each game.

The purpose of this thread is to exchange Wii Numbers so that we play games online, exchange Miis, or just send messages to one another. To do that, you most have the other person's console number and nickname. I trust most of you people, so I'll go ahead and start with my own personal number.

Nickname: Cale
Wii Number: 5669 0120 7254 1945

If anyone wants to add me, but doesn't want to share their information with the admittedly insane KKW community, PM me or others who you know own a Wii.

I'll be sure to add my Wii # as soon as I get me grubby hands on one. I have Zelda pre-bought, but I couldn't go wait in line for one, so I'll have to wait for the next EB shipment (which I hope is relatively soon!)

I'm posting from a Wii right now! It's pretty sweet, if you ask me. Did anyone ask me?

I have Zelda and Monster Truck 4x4 (a gift from my uncle) as well as Marvel Ultimate Alliance (a gift from my other uncle)...I plan to trade the last two in eventually...they're not so great.

I'll be getting SSX Blur when that game comes out, it looks pretty incredible.

I have Excite Truck, Madden, and Trauma Center (and 6 VC Titles). I had Rayman, didn't like it, and I rented Elebits.

Yeah, I regret buying Rayman....
I wish I had gone for Excite Truck instead.

i bought a Wii purely for zelda.. but since then I've bought red steel aswell.

Well, how is Red Steel?
Elebits is a lot of fun, but Rayman sucks. It's just too hard to be worth playing...and this is coming from a longtime Rayman fan. I seriously have every Rayman game ever released, but this one is just not good.

I currently have my eye on Warioware.

And has anyone downloaded any games for the virtual console? So far, I only have Bonk's Adventure. I was a huge fan of the Turbo Grafix 16 back in th day, and I'm loving this re-release of TG-16 games. I SOOO wish they'd release Blazing Lazers for the Wii. It was one of the best shooters of all-time.

red steel is ace... except it knackers your arms holding it at the screen for hours on end.

I wouldn't buy WarioWare, it's not worth $50. but rent it. And yeah, I'd sell rayman on Ebay and get Excite Truck. It's a much more solid game.

So, what exactly can you do with someone's Wii friend code, anyway?
What are the advantages of exchanging them?

Mii exchange, Mii "Travelers", You can send messages to that person after a Wii Code exchange. You can attach pictures to the messages, too. Hopefully they'll do more with the online stuff soon, but those are some things you can do once a Wii code exchange is made.
