View Full Version : Forums seem a bit smaller?

Nothing wrong with your settings, I just adjusted the span of the forums from 100% down to 85% of the browser window. I think it looks a bit tidier and smarter this way, but you may have other ideas.
I have removed the adverts from the forum too, as an exploratory measure.
Let me know.

I do kind of like the grey space on the sides of the page.

I like it, it looks good. Then again, I thought the old looked good too. :)

Too much grey

It would take a little getting used to, but I think it looks more neat. Tidy. Slim. Like Keira.

Yeah and you can make it thinner depending on how anorexic she gets....j/k.
I like it!

I dislike it. Mainly because it looks odd in my 1680 x 1050 widescreen.

It looks fine. Just need to adapt to it.

I like it. Stretched forums are like stretched arses. Painful.

Eww. Bring back the original, imo.

I'm not a fan of change. But after a while i probably won't care, but for now i hate it.
I didn't notice until I read this thread but now it's starting to look a bit odd.

How could 7 of you not notice? What are you blind?

You guys are fucked up. Stretched forums look messy, and there's no doubt that the newer look is tidier. So what rational logical reason could there be to prefer the old way? It's not like the word limit has come down (not that most of you would use it anyway). So what's the problem?
Fear of change, of evolution...of, dare I say it, improvement? Christ.
Edit: I just remembered. The other forum I visit regularly also uses VBulletin and users can select from a choice of skins. I'm not particularly knowledgeable about VBulletin but could the narrower option be set up as one skin, and the wider one as another?
Because I MUCH prefer the narrower one but some people clearly (being fucked in the head) prefer the wider one.
