If you have an overweight or not - no matter, you MUST keep your body in a good form!!!Slim body is beautiful and healthy!!! If you have an overweight, you'll get health problems earlier or later...
But hard diet is not a solution!!! You NEED to combine right (but not insipid!) food and some physical trainig!

Post your BMI results in replies.

2Admin: Sorry if the message doesn't suit your forum (but health is important...). Kindly ask to move it to an appropriate section. Thank you.

Apparently I have a BMI of 24... which means its time to starve!

Of course, the BMI system is vague and outdated, not taking into account LBM (lean body mass). i.e. if you were a bodybuilder with 6% bodyfat, you would most likely be in the obese category. However, for the average joe, BMI is a easy way of working out whether you're fat, when you can't bear to look at yourself in the mirror, or you find math difficult.

If you're very tall, then you may end up having a low BMI, but look chubby anyway.

I have a BMI of 28, which doesn't surprise me. I don't feel or look fat, but I think a little slimming down wouldn't hurt. I try to spend a lot of time swimming, and not a lot of time eating. It works!

22. Matches my age. That would be pretty weird if that happened every year. That'd mean I'd be overweight by the time I'm 30 and an unrecognizable blob by the time I'm 60.

BMI is a completely worthless number.
body composition, fat %, etc, are more valuable figures to evaluate ones fitness.
