Hi! My name is Valérie and I'm 16 years old. :)

I'm from Quebec in Canada (nobody knows where it is lol). Maybe you will have difficulty understand me sometimes. I'm not very good in english, because my first language is french. So, scuse me in advance.

I have just listened the movie Pride and Prejudice and I think is the best movie of the year!!! Sincerely, Keira has done so good movies.

So, goodbye!!!

Welcome Val (sorry I don't know what keystroke produces the accent over the "e" so I think I'll just stick to Val, if you don't mind)

Welcome Northerly neighbor, we have a thread in General Discussion about Canada, maybe you could enlighten us on some things.

Welcome. Weird, a Canadian who can't even speak proper English :icon_conf.

By the way; why wouldn't people know where Quebec is?

...Not that weird, seeing how they have two official languages?

Welcome! :)

I know that. I just compare it with the Netherlands. There are two official languages; Frysiân and Dutch, but the Frysiân people all speak proper Dutch ;).

True, only we were never conquered by the Frisians and the Dutch, after which the country was divided between the two languages :icon_razz (Not in recent history anyway...) And Frysiân hasn't been an official language for that long I think, so all people who spoke it were taught in Dutch at school. I'll stop doing my annoying I'm right dance routine now, yeah.

Thanks for all your greetings!!! I will clarify something. First, I can speak english, because I have classes at school and second, I use my dictionary english- french frequently to write my message, because I don't know all the words.

PS: Ramses, I said that nobody knows where Quebec is in a sarcastic way, because it's not as popular as Ontario or British Columbia. Simply that.

Have a nice day everybody!!!

*scratching my head* So...is Quebec cool on the wacky tobaccy or is that just Vancouver, BC?
