...but had to choose going into the past or the future, which would you choose?

...and feel free to explain why.

I chose future because we know absolutely nothing about it as of right now. We can almost imagine what the past was like (even though I'm sure it's completely different than how I imagine.)

Plus, I wanna see how big televisions get.

I choose past. The future could show some very ugly things, that you're better off not knowing. Imagine seeing someone you care about dying.. How would you live knowing this?

You mean you don't know right now that everyone you love will die someday?

I would choose the past because it fascinates me.
I'd want to watch every major battle that has ever taken place. Maybe I could take digital video of it and you could watch it on your big TV.

HAHA! I mean seeing them get killed or something like that.
My other reason for choosing the past, is that I have an interest in history, we should watch those battles together brad.

The past would be awesome. Firstly, because I'll hardly get sick - gg genes. Secondly, because I'd get to wear those awesome dresses. I'd want to go back to somewhere between 1400 and 1800, or like.. the stone age or something.

I chose future because I want to see what my children look like when they are older and their children and so forth.

I choose past because I want to experience first hand what it is like to live during the early Hollywood years. Imagine being in California in the 1930s, '40s, '50s, '60s. Also, of course, I want to meet Katharine Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Vivien Leigh, Ginger Rogers, Joan Crawford, Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe, Ingrid Bergman, Myrna Loy, Janet Leigh, Steve McQueen, Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart, John Wayne, Spencer Tracy, James Stewart, Clark Gable, Orson Welles, Gregory Peck, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, etc...

And I'm sure if I had access to a time machine you'd never see or hear from me again.

The future simply doesn't interest me as much as the past does. It's too dangerous to know too much about your own future, anyway.

i voted past because of the music. i pretty much live in punk, ska, and hip hop music from about 1977-1985.

i didn't vote future because America probably will be worse. does anyone else think that America won't make it another hundred years?

Past, without a doubt. I'm an old soul, anyway. A geezerly soul.

Past, I don't want to know what's ahead, it would haunt me and all my acts would be define by it. No way.
Past seems more interesting, you get a chance to understand things.

I'd go back to 1913, just in time to be able to avoid World War I.

Oooo and to find out what REALLY happened to Amelia Earhart.

I said past, I'm a history freak. I'd go back to biblical times to see just what the hell really happened back then, I'd also like to make a stop off during some other times, WWII, Europe during that 1600's and stuff. Yeah... the past would be awesome.

Future.

I want to get one of those Sport Almanac books.

You could always just go back to February 10, 1990 and put a bunch of money on forty-something to one underdog James "Buster" Douglas.

Or, January 11, 1969. Put it all on the Jets.

past

i'd love to be in the medieval times and be in battles to take over other castles, and i always wanted to fight in armor with a sword (how bad ass is it to fight with swords over pussy ass guns). Also i'd love to see the greek/roman times (i'd be spartan, of course)

plus if i go back to the medieval era i could see what they believed were dragons and maybe have one for a pet ;)
hell maybe id be able to cast spells like merlin

then i'd go in the past to 1969-1970 (ever seen dazed and confused? i'd live like that for a while and go to woodstock trip on some acid and blaze all day)

also i'd buy a lot of stocks in microsoft etc so when i come back to present day :)

i want to go into the future so i can see all the new inventions, and maybe (if its possible in the future) to travel to different galaxies etc but the future looks more relaxing and laid back.
