Stumbled across this today on my daily scan of mindless celebrity blogs. I figured I'd share.

Why would they only have one yearbook for 1996 through 2001?
I do not understand how the British school system works, so one of you Brits tell me this: between what ages would someone attend a school like Teddington?

Ok, here's what I found:
Secondary education
Secondary school is compulsory from 11 to 16 years old. At the end of this period, pupils take their GCSE (General Certifiate of Education) examinations, which generally take 2 years to prepare. After this, pupils can stay on for another 2 years and then sit their A Levels, which are necessary to continue to university level.
Well, she would have been eleven in 1996, and sixteen in 2001. All right -- I guess it all checks out....

In Ireland you only get a yearbok when you leave school.
