View Full Version : This land is my land...

I dont know if many of you have seen it, but it's the coolest map I've ever looked at in my life.

Flash Earth (http://www.flashearth.com/) shows you were every little city, town or village is in the entire world. I've gotten lost in this for about an hour now.

Look up your fellow KKWers! No stalking allowed, of course.

You can't stalk me even if anyone was bored enough to try mmm...

I read in a newspaper somewhere they'll bother satellite photoing the east side of Melbourne eventually though.

Yeah, I had the same thing. I can find my town, but that's it, it won't zoom in any further. No stalking the neighbours then.

I stalk myself.

That pointer is right at my swimmingpool.

If you click on MSN ve with labels, they name all the little towns. When you do that and you zoom in close enough in Kansas, you'll see Lawrence, and you'll se some main highways that surround me.

How do you save th image to post here?

01-02-2006, 12:39 AM
There's a key on your keyboard "Insert/Print Screen" It copies what's on the screen and then you can go into photoshop or any image program and copy it it and save. At least taht's what I do.

Oh, I don't have Photoshop. Too bad, I wanted to show everyone the trees that block my house.

unfortunately my town isn't there... gps is a miracle, isn't?
there's another interesting program on this site for those who like the stars...

I have paint, but you can't see my house anyways. The hills next to my house are blocked for privacy reasons, and trees cover where my house is.

Landforms are always good markers for a stalker.
