hey guys a friend of mine is having trouble with a math problem and i haven't done math in some time i was wondering if anyone can help with this problem:

sell tickets for $10 and give each person in attendance a suvenir baseball cap. The cost of the caps will be partially funded by a member of the community, and the cost to the committee will be $2 per cap. The expenses for advertising and park rental will be $2000. Write an equation to model the dollar cost and an equation to model the dollar revenue for the festival

thanks for your help

c = (ax2) + 2000
r = a x 10
p = r - c
p = (a x 10) - (a x 2) - 2000

c= cost | a = attendance | r = revenue | p = profit

Here's my version:
10x - (2000+2x) = Your Income

x = number of sales.
