I think the fact that kids listen to music like that in the first place is the biggest problem :icon_razz

If you're a weak person who is going to listen to rap and then feel compelled to go shoot someone, then don't listen to it. But if you understand that it's just music, and you can appreciate it, then I don't see the problem.

I think the media is the easy one to blame. Some mentally imbalanced kid in Wisconsin shoots his friend with his dad's gun...blame the video game. Never mind the fact he just found out his mom's a lesbian, he's insane, his dad prefers his older brother and all they do in Wisconsin is tip cows and spin their cars on ice, but he's not old enough to drive a car and not big enough to tip a cow.

It gets out of hand. My aunt doesn't let her kids watch Sabrina the Teenage Witch or read Harry Potter because it has witchcraft. But Lord of the Rings? Yes, 'cause those are classics.

I think the same can be said for sex. People have sex, duh. Is it really that shocking? Not that I would let my kid watch porn or anything, I just think it's kind of irrelevent to shield it in music videos.

Also, something that may need to be said: I noticed while in France that music videos are a lot more suggestive there than what I grew up on. The same with commercials and other media forms. Where you are from, how you have been raised, and what you have been exposed to can have a lot to do with it, I think.

We are all going to burn in eternal hellfire because of MTV.

Seriously, when I was a teenager, parents had their drawers in a bunch over 2 Live Crew. Somehow, we managed to get through high school with two pregnancies and no communicable diseases that I know of.
It has more to do with parenting. If kids are left in front of the babysitter...er I mean the TV...then you can bet your last dollar/pound/franc/euro that they will emulate what they see. If they see a bunch of thugs walking around talking about they bling and Cristal and whatever else is cool they wind up like this...

I like to think MTV will burn in hellfire for the mind rot bullshit it inflicts upon the millions of brain dead dolts who watch it religiously. :)

Simply put, parents need to do a better job. My parents checked any music I listened to up until I was 15, at which age I picked up a liking for Jimi Hendrix, convincing my father all was right in that department. In addition, people need mirrors. If they had any idea how fucking ridiculous they looked, they wouldn't dress like the no talent morons they see on TV.

Most of you know my opinion on that sort of music so I won't repeat it again, but basically I think that if you like that music to the point where it influences how you look and act, then you are as patently stupid as the dipshits, hacks and no-hopers who are creating it.

Do the world a favour and stop supporting this one note rnb dog shit.

I can't have white kids. But then again, they might turn out to be pimply asian kids with a horrible taste in music. What are the odds though eh?

I don't think mirrors are enough, mandatory electro shock therapy would be getting some of the way there.

You could have mix children. For some reason, Asian/Caucasian mix kids are always really good looking. Like Brandon Lee. Or Devon Aiko. I probably mispelled that....

It's irritating. Maybe it's because I can't stand what my classmates like in terms of music. Maybe I'm jealous of being out of the stream. Whatever it is, sexual marketing rules and I don't see a lack of it. Roll in the dough pimps.

Yes, it is alarming that since the rise in 'gansta' images on TV, many become 'wiggas' (white people who want to be black, and in trying to be so, end up even more painfully white).

As for sex? People have to learn about it somehow, and by the time most know what the words are about or what is going on on the screen- they're already turning safe search off on google and seeing that sort of stuff regularly.

Devon Aoki... is it the 'model' whos been in 2 fast 2 furious and Sin city?
IMO she looks like someone has been at her face with the photoshop morphing tools. Her skull is too big, her lips are too small, her eyes are to bulbous.

But yeah Asian/Caucasian mix kids can be totally hot.
You missed the quintessential example: Kristin Kreuk. Hot damn.
Once I stop the drool, I'll remember some more later.
