I used to play violin, but quit soon after. I got my horse around the same time I started, so...you know...priorities.

I know a few songs on the piano, but that's something I would really like to learn how to do better.

I played the flute for 7 years and then one day decided I'd had enough. (my parents weren't happy about that)
I haven't touched it in about 2 years now... Just gathering dust on my shelf.

Cool commitment Ashlyn

I play violin, piano, have voice lessons, taught myself to play the guitar, trying to play the harmonica since I found the thingy that means you can play while playing the guitar, I CAN play bass but not very well yet and I used to play the recorder.

But I'm only doing voice for my music Higher School Certificate

I used to play the recorder (ha ha) But I was forced into it.

Then I played the flute for about 3 years. I quit, though.

I took a couple of lessons in clarinet, but that didn't last very long. I've been playing guitar the last few years.

Everyone in my class had to play the flute in school. I wasn't bad.
I took piano lessons when I was younger, but I stopped when I decided I knew enough and moved on to other things.
My brother had made it his life mission that I learn guitar. I suck, I think my fingers aren't long enough. And my borther thinks that by playing the guitar in front of me in learn something...not a chance.

I have a guitar, I bought it about a year ago. I played it horribly for a week, and packed it away. It's still brand new, but I'm starting to face I'm just not cut out for a guitar.

I'm the rhythm guitarist and vocalist in a rock/metal outfit called faultline. I used to play bass but switched to rhythm cause our original lead guitarist left. My mate Shingo stepped up to play lead, a new bassist arrived and now all I need to do is fly home so we can jam a little.

I play an epiphone flying-V. Currently learning Angel of Death by Slayer.

I don't know guitars, so if it sucks. Don't laugh. :icon_err:

To be honest, I actually bought it because it was at a fair price. It's a Squier Fender SA-100 Acoustic Pack. It comes with picks, a cheap ass tuner (that can't work for shit), an instruction booklet, a long belt so the guitar can hang around your shoulder, and I think a bunch of other stuff.

My only problem, I think, would be tuning it. I don't have the ear for it, but I did purchase an electronic tuner that I did use to tune but don't know if it's actually tuned right. As long as I tune it right, I'd be more than happy to go through endless amounts of hours of teaching myself to play.

I paid $120 dollars for it.

Ok nevermind, it's an acoustic..I have a plenty of those.
I need an electric now to play some nice rhythm in the band.
I figured you had an electric Richard, so I thought maybe I could help you get rid of it. It's alright though.

Do you play any musical instruments? I played the flute and violin as a child but discontinued due to my busy career in with art. Do any other members from keira Knightly play any musical instruments? Share your stories and experiences with us.

I got an electric guitar and amp when I was in 5th grade. I took lessons until 9th grade and realized that in about 4 years I couldn't even name all of the musical notes (H minor anyone?). So, I quit. Haven't picked it up since... :(
