I remember him for writing the book 'Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas', which was of course, eventually adapted into a movie. That's about all I know about him. I'm sorry to have just heard about his passing, I'm sure he was a great man.
By the way, your photo is not showing up. Or is just me?

He was more of a commentator than a journalist. Good writer though. With the hard miles he put on the old chassis, I'm kind of surprised he lasted as long as he did.
I believe bullets are more effective than massive amounts of illegal drugs though Hassel.
I've enjoyed his work, but I honestly wasn't that surprised when I heard about his death. Like Hassel, I'm surprised it hasn't happened before now. I mean...the mescaline alone...

Yeah, I guess he decided to drive himself to the junkyard rather than be towed. It's weird to think that he's my dad's age.
