1. My cousin Bonnie does some acting. She was a tomato in the movie Health. Surely you've all heard of this blockbuster. Hmmm. Maybe not. ;)
2. My cousin Ann, who now works for Steven Spielberg, used to date a guy named Fisher when they worked together for George Lucas. He was in one of the cantina scenes in one of the recent Star Wars movies.
3. The Hippocratic Oath that hangs about 5 feet from my head was among many of the items rented from our company for the filming of the doctor's office scene in Cocoon.
I'm so Hollywood. :icon_cool Have your people call my people.

Keri Russell (Of evil Felicity fame) went to my old high school.

Oh, and my brother in law's sister in law (we're closer than that description would have you believe) was an extra in Miss Congeniality.

My uncle is a set constructor and constructed the sets for A Secret Garden, The Mask of Zorro, Freaks and Geeks, Stargate, and the Kill Bill movies (which my aunt worked on too)(he re-did my aunt's bathroom with the wood from the House of Blue Leaves from Vol. 1) (My lucky bastard of a cousin got to go to the Kill Bill Vol. 2 premiere...still jealous)

man, that is an ass-load of parentheses.

The school scenes for Cheaper By The Dozen & Dodgeball were both filmed at my high school.

I think I once saw Evan Rachel Wood during my trip to Catalina Island several years ago. And most recently would have to be when I saw Arnold Schwarzenegger at a park filming some scenes for T3.

I've never been in a movie nor do I know anybody who has been. Actually, my former English teacher (who's a huge fan of Buffy) is actually on a featurette on the Season 7 DVD box-set. Pretty cool, but I haven't seen it.

If anyone remembers the movie Bounce with Ben Affleck and Gwyneth Paltrow...Yeah, well, they filmed it at my local donut shop and my dad was actually an extra in one of the scenes. Evidently, after renting it, they cut the scene he was in.

my friend at school. her older brother was in mighty ducks 1 and 2, in there basement they have a bunch of posters and pictures on the wall from the movie. he was also in drop dead gorgeous, movie that makes fun of beauty pagaents and minnesota, that's where we live. he played the highschool who got shot in the head, a minor character.

also my friends' parents know richard taylor,he's a big producer of LOTR movies, on the dvds and stuff. he went to carleton college in minnesota so three of my friends and their parents got to go the the movies' carleton college preimiere, about 2 weeks before the movie went into theaters, they got to see all three, but tickets were 50 to 75 dollars, the price changed over the three years, there was also dinner and an after party too. they also got a bunch of promotional stuff. like posters, and my friend gave me one made out to me signed by richard taylor. yes super sad...

my dad said he also met matt dillon at the mystic lake casino when he was filming a movie here. i forgot what it was called. i'm trying to think of minnesota movies (btw they havent made any here for a while, we cant give them tax breaks), well it was something in the 1990s. i'm not sure if he was making it up though, knowing my dad he could have been drunk at the casino and mistaken someone or just made the story up....

One of my grandfathers was William Redfield, who starred as Harding in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. He also made appearances in Fantastic Voyage, The Hot Rock, Death Wish, and A New Leaf.

My other grandfather appeared in the film of 1776 as George Reed of Delaware, and in a little known film called A Quiet Day in Belfast and two episodes of The Saint. He's still alive, and was most recently in a production of King Lear starring Christopher Plummer.

Lesse now...

-My dad was an extra in A Bridge Too Far with Robert Redford. He was actually thrown from a dike by Redford. My dad was standing in the way of the camera and the path Redford was taking.

-My 7th grade teacher is a good friend of Dick Clark's, and Clark partially sponsors Spring Show, a show at the middle school here.
