Closer. I saw the trailer for that when I saw I'll Sleep When I'm Dead and it looked really interesting.
The Life Aquatic... looks like a movie I'll enjoy.
Other than that, I'm not all that stoked.

I won't be seeing any of those movies anytime soon. I hardly go to the cinema anyway, but Closer, Meet The Fockers, & The Aviator are the films I will consider once it hits shelves.

I'm including the Incredibles, because it's such a great movie. As much story for the kiddies as their is for the adults, plus it has Craig T. Nelson:P

I'm looking foward to seeing Closer tommorow(Natalie Portman......) and Blade Trinity(the holidays can't always be merry, can they?)

Well, in the excitment of... uhhh... school and papers. I didn't even write my holiday movie selection in! I know you were disappointed and now happy I remembered.

I'm going to see Closer on Saturday which I'm very excited about.
Finding Neverland is a must because anything with Kate Winslet and Johnny Depp just can't be bad at all.
Ocean's 12 definately. I loved Ocean's 11 and I'm sure this one will be just as good. Plus I love Matt Damon.
The Aviator... I don't care what you all say I love me some Leo. Plus it's Scorsese.
Meet The Fockers, Ben Stiller is just hilarious, and Meet the Parents still makes me double over in laughter.
The Aquatic Life... Wes Anderson :Hail:
Lemony Snicket, I love Jim Carrey, it looks like a great movie.
Phantom, I saw it on stage and I'm very interested in seeing how it goes on the big screen.

Now you know, I know big relief.

Update for those in the UK. We're actually not getting Ocean's 12 this month but we ARE finally getting Garden State (thank GOD!). Here's the release dates for us Brits:

Friday 3 December
Christmas With The Kranks
Churchill: The Hollywood Years
The Merchant Of Venice
Napoleon Dynamite
Polar Express
Surviving Christmas

Wednesday 8 December
Blade: Trinity

Friday 10 December
Garden State
Phantom Of The Opera

Friday 17 December
Lemony Snicket's Series Of Unfortunate Events

Sunday 26 December
The Aviator
National Treasure

Of those I want to see GS FINALLY and I REALLY want to see National Treasure too. Napoleon Dynamite, The Merchant of Venice (I SOOOO want to see that), Surviving Christmas and Churchill: The Hollywood years as well.

Thoughts?

Haz, see everything you mentioned except National Treasure. I've read some things. Some horrible things. It's basically a shitty version of The Da Vinci Code.

But I highly suggest Garden State and Napoleon Dynamite to all ye British.

I went and Closer, which I liked. I thought it was good, I'm assuming the stage version is better. It just seemed as though it was be better. The language was.... graphic. But it was different is that there is hardy any nudity as all, like BARELY any, but it made up for it with the language. It was quite funny in parts though. I recommend it to nearly everyone.

Life Aquatic...no doubt. I've been wanting to see that movie for a while.

Ditto.

I really want to see Million Dollar Baby. I saw the early review on Ebert & That Other Guy last night and it looks amazing. I'll see it opening week, most likely.

WHITE NOISE

Whenever this movie comes out, I'm gonna see it. Even though Michael Keaton has fallen off considerably, this movie is gonna make me pee my pants.

By the way, did anyone ever see The Machinist?

Yep I saw it about 2 weeks ago. Fucking brilliant. Seriously disturbing, really fucks with your head...but I'd totally recommend it. I followed the movie well enough, but you're not told why the things that are happening happen until the very end, so I felt kind of lost...once I found out though, I was amazed at all the irony and the coincidences and the little red flags that I should have picked up on throughout the film.

Oh man. I saw this preview when I went to the movies with my friend Alan, and all of the voices were so garbled, that we realized that they weren't people from the beyond talking to their loved ones via electronics. No no no, they were porn solicitations. You can realistically substitute something pornographic into any phrase they said in that preview. Believe me, because we did it.

And if I were to see the movie (which I won't, because I think it looks terrible) that's how I'd spend the whole time there...substituting dirty talk.

Bwahahaha. I'd want to be sitting behind you listening. Laughing...whilst attempting to control my bladder full of Co-Cola

Been wanting to see it (Love Christian Bale) but I don't THINK it's been out here yet (I've not seen anything for it...although I suppose it could've slipped under the radar).

The Machinist was pretty overrated if you ask me. :icon_popc
