Not to bad.

Still you could use a little training. :)

yeah, they are good
you should not put your self down like that.
what program did you use to make them?

what program did you use to make them?

From the looks of it, Paint Shop Pro. Just because I recognise the purple star things in the last wallpaper, I use PSP myself.

I can't make wallpapers at all. I hear it's practice, but I'm too impatient :D

yeah, it's paint shop pro, got it for my birthday :) . thanks for being so nice. but I still have to practise some more.

Sry to disappoint you dear. Those aren't very good. I think they could very well be with a little practice. The whole setup is fine, but the tecnique isn't good enough. YET!
Just keep working, and it'll come ;)

That's very good work Ard.
About picture number 2, King Arthur. Have you thought about moving the left Arthur a bit down? If you do so, it will look more symmetric.

Aww babe, they're getting better. My suggestion is to stick with less words on some of them, and maybe a more central image instead of little ones that draw the eyes too many different places.

PS- I love the "I will keep on fighting" banner. Did you make it? Do you think you could make me one? >.>

I don't have the program I made that one with anymore, it's much simpler to use than paint shop pro. sorry. and thanks for the advice again. here are two new:

The one with Natalie Portman isn't BAD, but you can't see the writing.

I'm not even going to comment on the one from POTC. :p

Use a different program, or at least spend a little more time on them.

I use Adobe Photoshop Elements. Fairly easy once you get to know what everything does.

oh please, just get it mandy, not everyone can be as good as you :icon_razz i'm just doing it for fun. I did it today in like ten minutes. and i had to run and puke sometimes too, and no, not because they were so bad.

A few points:

1. You said they were "ugly" and now you take offence because someone else says so!
2. A quote: "People ask you for criticism, but they only want praise". W. Somerset Maugham. British Novelist

Errr...The topic is "my ugly wallpapers, look if you dare."

Anyway, sorry that you didn't like my criticism, but I was just being honest and trying to recommend a program to use. I only do it for fun as well and don't take it that seriously, but I've also been doing it for a while, and have had a lot of practice.

Not bad, not bad at all

The first one, I think, needs to be worked on. The concept is fine, but the way you've cut off Keira from some other pic isn't too well. You can see the white around her... Teh second one is good, except I don't like text :(

Ardnax

Maybe it's supposed to be white around her? Haven't thought of that have you? :icon_razz And I thought the text was quite funny, maybe it's just me then.

To make me believe the white around her is supposed to be there, the white should have the same width all around.
I didn't even think about what the text said, it was just too big and it takes away the attention on the picture itself.

Well lets see you do those better Foeni. And then we can discuss if it´s that easy to do great wallpapers. :icon_mrgr

I'm not saying they are bad, I'm just giving suggestions to make them better. If you read the whole thread, you will see that I have given that kind of advice before, and commented very positively on the results. I'm sure Ardnax knows me well enough to know that I'm not doing it to offend her, but to help her, don't you Ardnax?

And trust me, you don't want to see mine... They're so bad it'll make you go crazy ;)

I think the second one of the last two, Guinevere, was actually pretty good. You stuck with a central image, and at least the text had a designated place to go. Work, work, work babes!

I know that to Foeni. I´m just messing with you hence the :icon_mrgr
