Legend has it that Liam picked up the baton.
What's the score?

0-0, match delayed due to floodlight failure.
I'm currently at a small LAN. Once I get over the lack of sleep and the come-down from the caffeine high (and done the yearbook) I'll take SJW up.

I think the project's honestly a write-off by now. It's coming up eight months, we missed about five films and don't have anything to show for it. I thought we could get onto the post-Lost In Translation hype, but I feel we'd just be bandwagon-jumpers at this point with no credibility.

No. Still do it. There is only one major Scarlett site in English, and I've been working with it all this time. She has two *huge* blockbusters coming up, whereas as of right now, people only know her in the relatively smaller films. It's not too late.

Well, in my eyes a ridiculous amount of time has gone by without any progress.
Of course as a site for the community and also financially (The KKW family is almost a business these days!) it's a very good investment opportunity, but I'm concerned about the viability of entering the market at such a late stage. I recognise the lack of competition, so would still be very eager to maintain this project.
To settle, if Liam doesn't produce the goods in ten days then I shall start it again from scratch and with the help of those here behind the scenes hopefully have an inaugural site live within two weeks and pulling a good proportion of traffic within two months.
It's very saddening to see such a promising project on the verge of failure because of a long-standing team player, but we all recognise the need to drive for success. To this end I would have to say that SJW will be returned exclusively to the fold of the KKW team on 18th March for development barring any intervention from our Aussie admin.
I do hate to point fingers, but eight months is almost long enough to deliver a baby, never mind a simply coded website for production.

So barrington, you're going to encode the site over again? Insanity, I must say.
We still do have the problem of encoding/editing coppermine, which I will be working on as time permits (in other words this coming weekend/friday, no sooner).
I do find it rather sad that the scarlett site has not risen yet, but it is true that the films she recently showed up in were fairly, well, lack luster as far as I can tell. If/when you decide to work on the Scarlett site barrington, if you need help, please let me know and I will see what I can do. I have no intention on scanning for the Scarlett site, but I will try and track down as many pictures as I can for her in the mean time.
If we end up going through with it, I'll try and ensnare some help from some very very important sources.
Hope things go well in the next couple of weeks.

Thankyou Baz. I'm still in contact with a few people on Scarlett's side, and as I've said before, it would be a shame to see the project disappear so soon before the release of her first *really big* movie. I'm glad you're willing to move on with it without the others rather than just forget it, and I am able to help in any way I can.

Just a heads-up, im coming to the end of my academic year and have a lot of shit to do. I will be able to pick up this project from 5th June onwards.

My final exams finish on the 6th June, then its off in to the wide world of work for moi, not that this has any relevance to baz's post....

Okay, I'm going to start managing this project in about ten days or thereabouts. If anyone is still up for helping out, keep an eye on this thread and I'll let you know the score. Summer's here and I finally have time to set this thing in motion. I still believe there's a good market to be had from this lassie, and she's certainly a better investment than Keira at the moment.
